Adél and Zoli

We moved to Aszófő — my wife’s hometown — just before Covid. We wanted to leave Budapest behind and start a family somewhere calmer.

As a software developer, I worked from home during the pandemic — but before long, I found myself craving company while I worked, and there was no coworking space nearby where I could find that.

So when the first opportunity came along, my wife and I opened our own place — we named it AZ Iroda, after ourselves: Adél and Zoli. 🙂

It’s a small, well-equipped coworking space for 8 in the center of Balatonfüred, with a call room, monitors, a small kitchen, and — most importantly — fast internet.

We’ve been running it for 3 years now. We love the community that’s grown here, and we try to bring a smile to people’s faces every day — even if it’s just a good chat or a coffee break.

Over 200 freelancers, entrepreneurs, and remote workers have come through our doors. We’re proud that many of them became regulars — and that we’ve built a real community here.

In September 2025, thanks to growing demand, we expanded with a dedicated 8-person meeting room with a projector, plus a coaching/workshop/training room.

We hope you’ll love it as much as we do.

Our vision is simple: we want as many people as possible to experience what it’s like to work somewhere you can head to the beach afterward, take a walk, grab dinner at one of the restaurants along Tagore Promenade, or go hiking in the Balaton Uplands.

Because we believe a better work environment makes for better work.

Our Community

AZ Iroda brings together people from different backgrounds who think alike. Here are a few of our regulars:

  • Péter, a web developer, who loves the fast wifi and the call room — they let him take calls with his international clients without any interruptions.
  • Kata, a graphic designer, who finds inspiration over coffee and often swaps tips with the rest of the community.
  • Miklós, a marketing consultant, who comes in on the Veszprém county discount because he loves the calm setting.
  • Lilla, an online tutor, who works in the open space but heads to the coaching room whenever a client comes in.

There’s no rigid hierarchy here — just mutual respect, spontaneous conversations, and the good feeling of not working alone. Come join us and be part of the community.
